Job Details:

  • Job Title: IT Support & Maintenance Engineer.
  • Location: Amman – Jordan
  • Job Type: Full Time/On-site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support for computer systems, networking, and IT infrastructure.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks internally and at client sites.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, networking, and system issues for clients during on-site visits.
  • Configure servers and firewalls to ensure secure and efficient operation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance tasks and technical support activities.
  • Improve system performance by identifying potential upgrades and offering recommendations.
  • Manage the inventory of IT and networking hardware to ensure availability.
  • Stick to health and safety standards during maintenance operations.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in IT support and maintenance roles.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in:
    • Computing and networking
    • Server setup and configuration
    • Firewall installation and management
  • Familiarity with maintenance management tools is preferred.
  • Ability to travel and work on-site at client locations.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organisational skills.
